Full Moon Precepts Ceremony

This is a ceremony that helps us reaffirm our vow to live for the benefit of all living beings, guided by the Bodhisattva Precepts. This ceremony and the Precepts form a central component of Zen Buddhist practice.

Please join us for as much of the evening's schedule as you are able:

• 6:20pm – Snacks & tea in the dining room (no evening service)
• 6:45pm to 7:15 – Small group discussion of the Precepts
• 7:30pm – Ceremony (takes about 30 minutes)

Childcare

Childcare is offered on the first Saturday of every month at 702 W. 31st St., right across the street from the main AZC building.

Morning Retreat
Sat, 8/14, 7:30am-12:00pm

With a period of meditation tacked on to the beginning and end of our normal Saturday program, this is a fine way to do a little more meditation that you might be used to.

Sangha Work Day

The AZC community gathers about once every three months to maintain our temple buildings and grounds, have lunch, and enjoy each other's company.
