Zen Jargon / Glossary of Zen Terms

Most people start practicing with us on Saturday mornings, the most lively part of the week at AZC. We suggest beginning with the Beginners' Program and staying all morning on the first visit. If you cannot come Saturday, arrange private instruction at another time with the Ino. The Saturday service involves chanting the Heart Sutra and the En Mei Juku Kannon Gyo for the well being of anyone who is ill or endangered. If you have someone you'd like us to acknowledge, give the name to the Saturday Ino (zendo manager).

Classes are offered periodically. Practice leaders can help develop a program of training and study, and provide advice and counciling on practicing in the world and with one's own karmic situation.
