Thank you for visiting the volunteer opportunities area of the Austin Zen Center website.

We have posted various categories of tasks we would like members to volunteer for periodically. Opportunities abound for helping around the houses, on the grounds, in the library, with various maintenance tasks, preparing for special events, etc.

It takes much effort by many people behind the scenes to support sitting and the other activities AZC offers to promote practice. Help us build on the sense of community fostered by working for and with each other.

We are also looking for a shika (guest manager) and jikido (supervisor of zendo cleaning). Contact Laura if either of these interests you. THANKS.
